Justin’s health and wellness journey began in 2006 when he started practicing various forms of meditation, which resulted in him landing a leadership role for a U of A mindfulness mediation group years later. He has Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) training through The Centre for Mindfulness Studies.
As a parallel career to his role at WOW, Justin works as a career coach and teaching faculty member, and is a pursuer of lifelong learning after writing a master’s thesis on mindfulness and creativity. He enjoys attending local Vipassana and Insight meditation retreats and, more recently, exploring nondual self-inquiry practices for spiritual health and healing. Justin loves being able to share his background with meditation, teaching, and support services with others as a Wellness Coordinator, and particularly for those clients who are on a wellness journey.
