Natural Therapeutic Face Lift Massage combines the benefits of many therapies including acupressure, lymphatic drainage, head and body massage, and myo-fascial release. This 60-minute, all-natural treatment is done only with the skilled hands, fingers, and thumbs of the therapist.  Many people experience full body relaxation and other system-wide benefits due to stimulation of facial pressure points that correlate with other body systems.

How Does Natural Therapeutic Facelift Massage Benefit the Skin and Body?

Acupressure massage techniques followed by circular massaging movements free constrictions within the facial muscles and allows the muscles to relax, which immediately creates a more youthful appearance.  Sweeping techniques act as a gentle exfoliation treatment which encourages dead skin cells to slough off, and reveals new skin cells for a fresher complexion. Lifting and firming techniques improve lymphatic drainage from the head and face, and increase blood circulation to aid the removal of toxins.  These massage techniques also help to plump up the dermis.  After one treatment the skin on the face is left hydrated and glowing.

Suggested Frequency for Augmented Results

  • Begin with six treatments taken once per week, then continue with once-a-month maintenance
  • NTFM a nice compliment to our facials, especially the Revitapen Facial
    • Initially – three NTFM and one Revitapen in one month
    • Maintenance – one NTFM and one Revitapen per month
  • No more than one NTFM per week

Benefits of Natural Therapeutic Facelift Massage (NTFM)

  • Enhances nutrient supply to skin cells.
  • Improves lymphatic drainage to help remove accumulated toxins and waste products.
  • Reduces wrinkles and expression lines (eg. crows feet).
  • Reduces puffiness and under-eye discolouration.
  • Improves blood circulation and increases oxygen supply to the areas massaged.
  • Tightens facial contours, increases the skins elasticity and improves skin tone.
  • Refines pores, helps to normalize oil production and improves the skin condition overall.
  • Helps to dissipate mental, tiredness, stress, and depression resulting in greater mental alertness, clarity and concentration.
  • Causes the top layer of dead skin cells to be shed, improving the general condition of the skin and giving it a healthy glow.
  • The acupressure points on the face are associated with other body systems and so benefits to digestion, hormone balance, immune balance, restful sleep, and mood and emotional well being may be experienced.
  • Encourages deeper breathing which in turn promotes deep relaxation and triggers the release of “feel good” chemicals called endorphins that create a sensation of well being.
  • No down time or redness afterwards.

Client Testimonial

“My facelift massage with Katarzyna was so deeply relaxing it amazed me. it was surreal! How could a face hold so much tension? And how does this tension, if unreleased, age the face? I have 5 more sessions to go in the massage series and I am so excited to continue them! I would liken it to reflexology for the face, I sensed energy moving through parts of me depending on where Katarzyna was massaging. The anti-aging benefits are just a great bonus. I felt so much lighter and my face looked more vibrant and healthy… and this was only after the first session! Thank you Katarzyna. You are very gifted!” Lana N.

FAQ & Contraindications

Is this service eligible for health insurance coverage under massage?

No, this practitioner is an experienced aesthetician but is not a registered massage therapist and so this treatment is not eligible for massage health insurance billing. This treatment may or may not be permitted with some Health Spending Accounts.

I receive face treatments like Botox, fillers, chemical peels, facial surgery, and/or microdermabrasion, is NTFM for me?

NTFM is an excellent treatment to give prior to facial enhancements and procedures like Botox, fillers, peels, laser surgery, and microdermabrasion.  However, NTFM should be done 6 weeks after microdermabrasion and 3 months after Botox, fillers, peels, laser surgery, and face or oral surgery. Any facial wounds, redness or irritation must be fully healed prior to NTFM.

I have a mild, temporary skin issue or infection, is NTFM for me?

Redness, irritation, or infection from sunburn, cold sores, tooth, gum, eye, ear, throat, sinus infection, fever, or a head cold should be fully healed prior to taking NTFM.

I have a chronic skin condition (eg. eczema, acne, rosacea), is NTFM for me?

Chronic skin irritations such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, dermatitis (Contact), and/or rosacea may benefit from a facial prior to trying NTFM.  If you are unsure, please email a photo to info@wellnessonwhtye.com with a summary of your query.  We will aim to reply same-day and advise the best treatment for your unique needs.

I am pregnant or nursing, is NTFM for me?

If you are pregnant and in your first trimester, you have a history of miscarriage or you are nursing, we ask that you do not have NTFM.  Pregnant women in their 2nd and 3rd trimester are welcome to have NTFM but they should first consult their physician if they have concerns.

I would like to have NTFM on the same day as a facial or massage, is this ok?

We do not recommend that you have other body treatments on the same day as NTFM.  We will not perform a facial on the same day as NTFM, a facial should be taken at least one day before or after NTFM.

I currently have cancer and/or am taking cancer medications, is NTFM for me?

We do not recommend that you have NTFM during cancer or cancer treatment.  Please speak to your physician prior to booking this treatment.

Do you use lotions, serums, creams or other products during treatment?

No products are used.  We recommend that you arrive with clean skin.  If that is not possible, we may offer to cleanse the skin prior to treatment.
