Coming out of my maternity cocoon during spring time feels like divine alignment to me. Just as mother nature is eager to bloom, I too am ready for new growth. Though I’ve been away from work, nutrition and my love for food is something that never goes away for me. Nourishing myself through postpartum, breastfeeding and now showing the way to my baby girl has sprouted a newfound passion for food as medicine.
Spring is a pivotal time to set new health goals and “clean up” your self care practices, as our circadian rhythm changes and awakens from winter slumber. Introducing gentle cleanses, lighter foods, and increasing hydration is essential during this time. Just as you would “spring clean” your home or yard, so should you with your self care practices! Treating your body like a garden and planting new seeds (new habits/goals), getting daily sunlight, and plenty of water is the best way to enjoy this season healthfully.
I’m really looking forward to meeting new clients and spreading healing love through nutrition! If you are looking for guidance to navigate through these changes, or simply establish a healthy routine, I hope to connect with you soon!
