Qi Gong

purple-bliss

Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese system of self healing. The basic, very simple movements aim to promote the flow of qi (energy) throughout the body’s vibrational channels, enhancing and balancing physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.

The slow, deliberate movements, often resembling graceful, flowing sequences, are synchronized with our breath to promote relaxation, inner calm, and mental clarity.

Qi Gong encompasses a wide range of practices, including standing postures, flowing movements, seated exercises, and meditation techniques. Some forms of Qi Gong focus on specific health benefits, such as improving mobility, strengthening muscles and joints, boosting the immune system, reducing stress, and alleviating symptoms of various chronic conditions.

One of the fundamental principles of Qi Gong is the understanding that when the body’s qi is balanced and flowing freely, health and vitality are naturally restored and maintained. By integrating physical movement, breath control, and mindfulness, Qi Gong offers a holistic approach to wellness that can be practiced by people of all ages and fitness levels.
